Charles Thomas Kessel II, 73, passed away October 31, 2015 in St. Augustine, FL. He was born January 5, 1942 in Bonifay, FL. Charles worked at Johns Manville in Green Cove Springs from 1969 – 1979. He drove a dump truck until he retired from Smith Trucking in St. Augustine. Charles was an avid Florida Gators and Nascar fan and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie and his parents Charles Kessel and Perisa Pellum. Charles is survived by his daughter Karen Daniels (Freddie); brother John Kessel; sister Marilyn Carter; grandchildren Jessica Killen, Justin Carney, Joey Dingmon and Ashley Daniels; and great-grandson Kyler Killen.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 21 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207
