It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Ann Seay announces her passing on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the age of 68 years. She was born October 5, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Genevieve Sowa. Carol was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, visiting Captiva Island and cheering for her favorite teams, the Cubs and Jaguars. Carol will be forever remembered by her children Sheryl, Cory and Bryan (Heather). Carol will also be lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren Jack, Brady and Brooke and by her sisters Fran (Alan), Patricia (Gene) and Joanne (Angelo). A celebration of Carol’s life will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, 11801 San Jose Blvd. 32223, with visitation from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and a prayer service at 4:00 pm.
