Carl Edward Lee of Fernandina Beach, Florida, born on November 29, 1933 in Winokur, Georgia, passed away at age 84 on June 15, 2018 peacefully in his home. From 1952 to 1953, Carl served in the Air Force and also dedicated his career working at Container Corporation for 29 years until he retired in 2008. Carl was the beloved husband of Lela Mae. He was preceded in death by his son, Kimberly Edward Lee; and daughter, Sherry Lee Barger. Carl is also survived by daughter, Deborah Lee Pierce; stepson, David Bennett; and grandchildren, Christopher Bennett, Melissa Barger, Kelley Dickinson, Jason Lee, Christopher Lee and Stephanie Morgan. Memories of a loving husband, father and grandfather will live in our hearts forever. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 6pm – 8pm.
