Charles "Bob" Ussery

Bob proudly served our country for 22 years in the United States Air Force. After many moves upon his return, he settled down in Jacksonville, FL where he raised his family. After retirement, Bob was the manager of almost everything, a solid person with excellent values, Bob was able to work his magic in whatever endeavor he chose. He most definitely loved long car rides when he was a courier; oh, the stories he could tell. Bob will be loved and missed by all.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn, parents Andrew and Stella Ussery, siblings Evelyn Hamm, Wanda Keiflin and Billy Ussery, and children Chuck Ussery and Tiffany Ussery. Surviving Bob are his children Renee (Doug) Tuck, Donnie Ussery, Jimmy (Rhonda) Taylor, Jessica Williams (Matt Mason), Candice Cardenas, and Cheryl (Mark) Merriam, grandchildren Brandon, Bradley, Bryce, Blake, Chasity, Luke Stancil, Travis, and Jake, great granddaughters Emma and Brooke, brother-in-law Bob Keiflin and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Bob will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. A graveside service will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
