William "Bill" Robert Montondo, age 64, of Macclenny, FL passed away on February 26, 2023. He was born in Columbus, OH on November 9, 1958 to Lawrence Gilbert and Cora Mae Montondo. He graduated from Nathan B. Forrest High, Jacksonville, FL, Class of 1976.
He joined the United States Marine Corps from May 24, 1977 to May 23, 1981, and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. He was the Purchasing Manager at Allied Plastics in Jacksonville. Bill enjoyed graphic arts, playing musical instruments of many types, which included, the Tuba, Trombone, Ukulele and Guitar.
He is survived his mother, Cora Montondo; brother, James Montondo; aunt, Betty Slattery; and uncle, Bill Slattery.
Bill was preceded in death by father, Lawrence “Larry” Montondo; sister, Carol Sue Montondo; and grand-mother, Nora Montondo.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 11:30am at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
