Betty Jean Woodall aka “GRANDMA BETTY” passed away at her home in Westminster of St. Augustine on February 6th, 2022. Betty is survived by her son, Michael Woodall; daughter in law, Flo Woodall; grandchildren, Angela Walsh (Dan), Jon Woodall (Ashley), Alicia Kivlin (Mike), and Brooke Woodall; great grandchildren, Aiden Walsh, Collins, Sadie and William Kivlin and Lawson Woodall.
Betty was born in Weirton, West Virginia on May 12th, 1927, to Harry and Pearl Warwick. Betty enjoyed traveling and lived in many places in her younger days, from Arkansas and Texas to Hawaii. She came to Orlando, Florida and became a renowned Interior Designer. It was there that she met Weldon Woodall. They were married in 1977 and made Jacksonville their home for over 40 years. She loved and cared for “Woody” until his passing in 2019.
Betty was an exceptional designer, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be loved and missed forever. We can find comfort in knowing “Mom” is no longer in pain and she and “Dad” are finally back together and at peace.
Family and friends will celebrate Betty’s life on Sunday, February 13th, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please donate to Community Hospice and Palliative Care, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257 or the American Cancer Society.
