Bernard Martin Coppoth, 79, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Friday September 23, 2022. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on January 7, 1943, to his parents Martin and Bernice Coppoth. He married his loving wife, Darlene M. Coppoth on August 1, 1970. Professionally, Bernard worked as an Assistant Meat Manager at Publix Supermarket for 12 years.
As a man of many talents and interests, he loved playing golf in his spare time, though his true calling was serving God; that was his greatest goal. In his religious journey, he taught Sunday School for 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders and became a V.B.S. Leader and Elder at Refuge Baptist Church.
A special thanks is extended to all of our brothers and sisters in Christ whose prayers, cards, notes, and kindness strengthened and encouraged our faith in our Father and his perfect will in our lives.
Bernard is survived by his wife, Darlene Coppoth, daughter Trisa Coppoth, step-son Darren Domek, sisters Bernice Dwyer (Coppoth, Donna Letterer (Coppoth), and brother Robert Coppoth.
