Bailey Hunter Allen Singletary

Bailey Hunter Allen Singletary, age 5, of Callahan, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 in the arms of his mother Sarah, surrounded by his sisters and family. Bailey was born in Jacksonville, Florida, to his Mother Sarah Moore on December 22, 2019.

Bailey enjoyed going to the beach and springs with his family, and fishing with his Dad. He loved listening to his sisters read books to him, and playing with his sisters and cousins. Bailey loved going to the zoo and playing with the stingrays, his favorite! He enjoyed watching Bluey and Thomas The Train and other cartoons. He enjoyed making music with his music therapist Ms. Stephanie and his sisters, and making special keepsakes with Mrs. Leah. One of our favorite things to do as a family was to attend the PedsCare events. Bailey was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was so loved by his Hospice team, Therapist, and Nurses. Bailey had the brightest brown eyes with beautiful full eyelashes and a head full of brown hair that awed everyone around. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bailey is survived by his Mother Sarah Moore (Jacob Singletary) of Callahan, Sisters Bristol and Kassidy Singletary, Father Dakota Mewbourn of South Carolina, Grandparents Belinda Moore, James Odum, Jamie and Jesse Singletary, Richard (Susan) Mewbourn, Barbara Branyon, and Valerie Hayes, Great Grandparents Maxine Odum, James and Marie Johnston, Diane McAlister, Aunts Victoria (Travis) Montgomery, Monique Hayes, Jasmine Singletary, Ashley Norwood, Alivia Harper, Nancy, Donna and Kathryn Wright, Lindsey Spencer, Uncles Chris (Candace) Manasco, Antonio Hayes, Justin Singletary, Logan Loero, Johnny Mewbourn, Great Aunt Tina (Jimmy) Williamson, Great Uncles Lee Moore, Christopher Proctor, John Lodato, Cousins Morgan and Taylor Montgomery, Leiani, Cj, Caleb, Ciara and many other cousins and family members, including Nurses Ann Dixon, Kathie "Nana" Parker Borkowski, along with many other dear medical personnel that became family to Bailey.

Bailey was preceded in death by great grandmothers Mary Louise Morris and Eugenia Ashley, Great Aunt Deborah Proctor, Great Uncle William "Willie" Moore, Richard and Johnny Odum, Aunt Bailey McKnight and many other loved ones.

A visitation for Bailey will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32205. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 12:00 PM, followed by a Committal Ceremony on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
