Mr. Goodwin’s parents, Alvin Parker Jr. and Alma Fay Morrison Goodwin, two sisters, Eloise Goodwin Skeen and Betty Jean Goodwin Walton, and his beloved wife Vivian Nowlen Goodwin were all gathered in Heaven to welcome him home.
Mr. Goodwin was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Germany and France during the Korean War. He retired from Lamb’s Yacht Center after many years as a well-respected and sought after marine electrician.
Mr. Goodwin was best known for his quick wit, his love of the outdoors, and most notably his generosity and compassion towards friends and strangers alike.
He leaves behind a daughter, Linda Goodwin Edwards (Jeff), a son Danny Eugene Goodwin (Ann), one grandson, Christopher Edwards (Ana), one granddog, Panda Goodwin, many more family members, and a multitude of great friends.
