Alice Laverne (Baylor) Poore, age 82 years young, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 13, 2022 in Nahunta, GA.
Mrs. Poore was born on December 9, 1939 to Adger and Laura Baylor in Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She married Rex A. Poore, Senior on July 27, 1955; they were blessed with four children -daughters Laura, Madonna and Debra Ann and son Rex A. Poore, II.
She was predeceased by her parents Adger and Laura Baylor, as well as husband Rex A. Poore, Sr. and daughter Debra Ann Anderson. She leaves behind to cherish her memories sister Sylvia Lumpkin, brothers Edger Baylor [Donna] and Robert [Piggy] Baylor [Janet]; daughters Laura Poore, Madonna Heffernan [Steve] and son Rex A. Poore II [Mary]. She was grandma to 11 Grandchildren, and 20 Great-Grandchildren.
A visitation for Alice will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
