Wendy Price was a true inspiration of love to all she came in contact with. She was known and loved for so many things, for her love of sunsets, for her ability to magically deliver a wink, hug, or infectious laugh when it mattered most, for always having the time to take a walk on the beach with a loved one, for taking a humble and gracious satisfaction in the beauty of hearing the wind blow through the trees or the brilliance of growing a ripe tomato, for a sense of humor that that would bring you to the verge of tears and beyond every time you were with her, and above all for her endless love of her children, her family and her friends.
Wendy Price is survived by her husband Bruce Robert Price, her sisters Betsy Scott, Katherine Durham, Kerry Scott, Sarah Werner, her children Daniel Queen, Katherine Grace Price Queen, Lincoln Richard Price, Cooper Alan Price, as well as her grandchildren Kaelin Queen and Schuyler Queen who affectionately and lovingly know her as “Mima”.
The family will receive friends 2-3pm Friday, January 13 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville Beach. Funeral service will follow at 3pm Friday, also at Hardage-Giddens, with burial at H. Warren Smith Cemetery.
