Richard Wilson Hollis

Richard Wilson Hollis, 49, had his life taken from him on Monday, September 10, 2012 in Glynn County, Georgia. He was born February 18, 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from University Christian High School in 1981 and earned his bachelors degree from the University of North Florida.

He previously worked at Frito Lay and for the last 14 years he was the Vice President of Operations at Bubba Burgers. He recently retired and was enjoying his newfound free time. Richard enjoyed target shooting with his family, hiking in North Carolina, playing with his dogs, enjoyed watching the Yankee’s win and was looking forward to getting back into coaching baseball.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Grove Hollis, son Jordan Hollis & his two brothers, Kenny (Dodie) Hollis, Mike (Beth) Hollis along with his nieces & nephews and many cousins; his mother and father in law, Ron & Ruth Grove

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens, located at 1701 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am Saturday and will be held at Chets Creek Church, located at 4420 Hodges Boulevard Jacksonville, Florida 32224. The burial will be at Arlington Park Cemetery.
