December 14, 1932 in Lake City, FL.
He had lived in Jacksonville since 1939. His list of accomplishments
include: youngest Eagle Scout at his church, class of 1951 at Andrew
Jackson High School, played trumpet in the Jimmy Geiger Orchestra, B.A.
degree in accounting at JU, CPA in the insurance business for 10 years,
three-years in the Air Force, owned the Bahama American Truck Plaza,
best salesmen at La Mesa RV and Travel Trails in California, and creator
of RVGROUP.NET.
He his preceded in death by his mother Myrtle McDonald Geiger, father,
Carl Geiger, and son, Michael Shawn Geiger.
Survivors include a daughter, Mona Laurynn Lanehart (Jackson), 2 sons,
James C. Geiger (Vicki) and Jonathon M. Geiger, 1 granddaughter, Danika
Fleming (Joel).
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday, July 18, 2011,
at the Christ Episcopal Church, 400 San Juan Dr. Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
A military funeral will be held at the National Cemetery in Jacksonville
at a later date.
