Teresa Jane Haltom

Teresa was born May 14, 1953 in Jackson, Tennessee. Her parents were James Clifford Haltom and Marie Carden Haltom. Teresa spent most of her life in the Malesus area. She graduated from South Side High School in 1971. She worked at Jackson Madison County General Hospital for several years and later at Walgreens in Bemis.

Teresa was a lifelong, faithful member of First Baptist Church in Bemis until she was unable to attend regularly when she entered assisted living in Jackson, TN and in Memphis, TN. She did love her church and received many perfect attendance awards.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Judith Larue Haltom and her maternal Uncle John D. Carden.

She is survived by cousins Bruce Carden and Jamie Carden Boone.

A graveside service will be held at Ridgecrest Cemetery on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Bro. John Norvell will officiate the service.
