Richard Oliver Liptock II

Mr. Richard Liptock, age 70 of Humboldt, passed away at his home on May 25, 2015.Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary of Englewood Baptist Church with Dr. Brent Lay, and Rev. John Mark White officiating. Burial will follow in White Rose Cemetery.Richard was born in Milan, TN, to the late Richard and Lida Sue Rainey Liptock. He was a graduate of Gibson High School, and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Memphis and Nashville School of Law. He retired as a police officer after serving many years in Mobile County, AL, and then started practicing law at the Liptock Law Firm in Milan. Richard was a lifetime member of the S.C.U, and the NB Forrest Society. He loved Englewood Baptist Church, where he played many roles, and was very active.He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Joy Lynn Liptock; a son; Richard Oliver Liptock III of Mobile, AL; one brother, Gary Hayes of Memphis; and a host of other family and friends.Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Englewood Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m.
