Pat was born on June 5, 1955 in Raleigh, North Carolina to Herman L. Hersey and Vernie H. Hersey. Pat married the love of her life, James Lewelling on June 13, 1998. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ during both difficult and good times.
Pat had a long and rewarding career as a psychological examiner in the mental health field and the public school system in West Tennessee.
Pat is survived by her husband, James Lewelling and mother, Vernie Hersey.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herman L. Hersey.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21st at George A. Smith & Sons Funeral Home located at 2812 N. Highland Ave., Jackson, TN at 11am, followed by services at noon with entombment to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
