Lucille Ward Dyer

Lucy was born on March 10, 1930 in Bemis, TN to the late Cecil and Beautine Vivian Ward. She worked as a Secretary for Hunter Bond, DDS and volunteered for many years at Malesus Elementary School. She enjoyed going to the beauty shop and keeping up with friends and family on Facebook. She had a way of making everyone she met feel like family. She was a Christian in faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Marcom, and second husband Robert Dyer; three brothers Bernard, Wayne, and Judy Ward.

She is survived by son, Thomas Andrew Marcom of Jackson, TN; stepdaughter, Sandi Allinson of Greenville, NC; grandchild,Thomas Dylan Marcom and wife Casey of Jackson, TN; two step grandchildren, Chris Giles of Arizona, Jeff Giles and wife Marti of Greenville, NC; four great-grandchildren, Thomas Nolan Marcom, Brenton Porter, Tristan Giles and Christiana Giles; sister, Jerry Ward of Jackson, TN; a special niece, Carolyn Davis; a special friend, Kathy Flatt; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Visitation will be held before the service on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
