Junior Guy Whitt

Guy devoted much of his career to the Jones Family of Companies in Humboldt, where he worked in the textile mill. On May 5, 1974, Guy married the love of his life, Madlene Kay Perry. Their 50-year union was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Jefferson Whitt and Mary Victoria Hipps Whitt; his sister, Ruthie Bunch; and his brother, Paul Whitt.

Guy is survived by his beloved wife, Madlene Kay Whitt; sons, Dennis Whitt and Wayne Whitt (Nicole); grandson, Wayden Whitt; his sister, Judy Whitt; two nieces, two nephews, four great nieces, and one great nephew.

His life was a reflection of humility, dedication, and love, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

A service to celebrate the life of Guy Whitt will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with burial following in Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m., two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
