Ann was born on January 17, 1943, the daughter of the late James and Loudine Kiddy. She was born in McNairy County.
Ann was married to Bobby Jerry Smith on February 1, 1959 and celebrated 61 years of marriage before he passed away on March 21, 2020. Ann was also preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Anitra Smith who died at birth; a brother, Tommy Kiddy; and a sister, Jeannette Evans.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Sherilyn Uselton (Mike) and Sylicia Fuqua (Greg); four grandchildren, Brandon Uselton (Stephanie), Cody Fuqua (Lexi), Curt Fuqua and Catie Jackson (Mitchell); she also had three great granddaughters, Alaina Grace Uselton, Sadie Marie Uselton, and Amelia Harper Uselton; and a brand new great grandson, Beau Norman Fuqua. She also has four siblings, Betty Rhodes (Jim), Wanda Flatt, Mike Kiddy (Joyce), and Debbie Kiddy.
Ann was a hairstylist for 31 years. She was the owner and operator of Tangles Hair Salon. She loved the jokes and laughter that she shared with her customers. She was a member of East Union Baptist Church.
Ann's grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of her life.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 10:30 to 12:30 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Following the visitation, an escorted funeral procession will travel to Ridgecrest Cemetery for a graveside service beginning at 1 p.m. Bro. Curtis Howard will officiate the service.
Pallbearers to serve will be Brandon Uselton, Cody Fuqua, Curt Fuqua, Jeremy Ross, Timmy Kiddy, and Mitchell Jackson.
