He was born on June 20, 1949 in Jackson, TN, the son of the late James and Norma Clark Elder. He loved playing music with his worship team and he was big into Ham radios.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Willoughby Elder of Bolivar; daughter Teresa Montgomery (Terry); grandchildren Sarah Montgomery, Dusty Montgomery and Griffin Montgomery; sister, Wanda Devers (Barry) and brothers, Mike Elder and Alan Elder (Judy); and nephew, Christoper Devers.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 12:00-1:45 pm at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens with Pastor Marcie Hendrick officiating.
Pallbearers to serve will be Keith Escue, Dennis Murphy, Dusty Montgomery, Griffin Montgomery, Johnny Moncier, and Christopher Devers.
