She was born on October 11, 1930 in Henderson County to the late Clarence and Willie Little. Mrs. Wilson was retired from Bendix Corporation in Jackson. Prior to this she was employed at the Garment Factory and American Olean Tile.
She loved gospel music, reading her bible, the Tennessee Vols, and her many friends and neighbors. She was a caregiver for her family during illness and often said she was a nurse without a license.
She lived in the Parkburg Community and was a devoted member of Parkburg Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Wilson; daughter, Debbie Meadows; granddaughter, Sarah Meadows; and siblings Arnold Little, Beatrice Smith, and Harold Little.
She is survived by her son, Ron Meadows (Jackie); granddaughter Kelly Avery (Brandon); grandson, Josh Meadows (Allison); and great grandchildren, Harper Meadows, Houston Meadows, and Gatlin Meadows.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, 1544 South Highland, Jackson. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Bros. Danny Rachel and Jerry Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
The family respectfully requests that all attendees wear a mask and be mindful of social distancing practices.
