She was born on July 9, 1949 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Cooper and Earline Reeves Cooper. Dotty married Paul Little in 1966, he died in 2005. During her working career she was at one time an Office Manager for Bemis Medical Clinic, manager for the Regional Hospital Gift Shop and a cashier for Sterling’s. For the longest she worked at West Drug Store in Bemis as a drug technician, where she truly loved the time spent talking with all of their many customers. Dotty was a member of Bemis United Methodist Church. She was also a graduate of South Side High School class of 1966.
Dotty loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. In her eyes, they could do no wrong she loved them dearly. She also enjoyed watching the birds in her many bird feeders and listening to her wind chimes. Dotty had many friends and she always enjoyed visiting with them. Before her illness, you could find her at the “Diner” laughing and joking with everyone there.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Bruce Little, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Paul Little, Jr. (Kelly) of Jackson; her sister, Martha Pittman (Charles) of Pinson; grandchildren Wilson Little (Allie) of Oxford, MS; Colton Little of Jackson.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 9:30 - 11:00 am at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
A graveside service will be conducted immediately following the visitation at Ebenezer Cemetery in Malesus with Rev. Gary Morse officiating. Pallbearers are Wilson Little, Colton Little, Charles Pittman, Nicholas Pittman, Blake Pittman, John McBride, and David Wilson.
