Charmaine was born on February 14, 1934 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of the late A.J. and Helen Robinson. She graduated from J.B. Young High School in 1952 and from the University of Tennessee at Martin with Bachelor of Science in Home Economics in 1956. She was active in 4H all through school.
Charmaine went to work for the Homemakers' Service Department of the National Live Stock and Meat Board where she traveled all across the United States and abroad doing cooking schools. Charmaine was united in marriage to Joseph Lee in 1971 and they were married 48 years until his death in 2019.
She was a talented seamstress, cook, and baker and was a lifelong member of Concordia Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lee; her brother, Andrew Robinson, Jr.; and her sister, Merita Upton (Charles).
She is survived by her sister, Kathryn Webb (Jimmy); brother, Edward Robinson; a sister in law, Nancy Robinson; one niece, seven nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Mrs. Lee will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church with Rev. Eric Rudsenske officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial's in Mrs. Lee's memory be directed to Concordia Lutheran Church, 637 Wallace Rd., Jackson, TN, 38305 or the charity of the donor's choice.
