Robert Terry Smith

Robert Terry Smith, age 64 passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 in Vicksburg, MS. A pavilion service for Robert will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Memorial Park, 6000 Clinton Blvd., Jackson, Mississippi 39209.

Robert was born in Jackson, MS on April 17, 1959. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother to many. He loved to make people laugh and was always the life of the party. One of Robert’s favorite spots was Sandra’s Pub Mart and he could beat anyone in a game of bowling. He had wonderful friends and memories that go on and on. Although he had three children and eight grandchildren, his all-time favorite baby was his motorcycle. Although he will be missed, we are thankful that he is no longer suffering or in pain. We are so happy that he is now able to go fishing, take that train ride he always wanted to, and is now dancing in the sky.

He is preceded in his passing by his loving wife, Angie Joiner; his parents- John and Letha Smith; and his four legged friends- Trixie and Tooter Poot.

Robert is survived by his children- Tera Hasty (Kevin), Stephanie Smith, and Mitchell Smith; his grandchildren- Danica Brown, Cade Jones, Colton Kemp, Peyton “Grace” Kemp, Abby Hasty, Tristan Brown, Paisley Hasty, and Danny Kemp; his sister, Sherry Stroud (Lance); his cousins- Landon Stroud (Bonnie) and Crystal Stroud; and his dog, Milo.
