She was born November 24, 1924 in Louin, Mississippi to Benjamin Lee and Mittie Newcomb Ball.
Mrs. Nations was a member of the First Baptist Church of Louin. Mrs. Nations, along with her late husband, Robert E. Nations, loved to travel. She was very proud they were able to travel to all 50 states and signed the guest registry in each of the states' capitol.
Mrs. Nations was preceded in death by her husband; Brother David Ball and Sister Doris Thigpen.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Mitzie) Nations; daughter, Beverly Nations (Martin) Taylor; and brother, Jerald (Margie) Ball, six grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.
