Cynthia Ann Fountain White, 53, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with burial following at Lakewood Cemetery. Cindy was proceeded in death by her father D.G. “Sonny” Fountain, her brother, Patrick Henry Fountain and her grandson, Eric Kolton Houpt. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister. Before her retirement, Cindy was a deputy for the Hinds County Sherriff’s Department. During her retirement years, she enjoyed working outside at her home in her flower beds and spending time with her family. Cindy had a passion for animals and she loved spending time with her dogs. Cindy is survived by her mother, Margaret Fountain; two children, Pat Kelly (Kristy), Alyssa Milton Houpt (Kassidy); two brothers, Brad Fountain (Monica), Chris Fountain (Lynette); four grandchildren, Addison, Peyton, Kale, and Kash.
