He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kathryn Morris, of Carson MS, his parents James "Eddie" and Leatha Crawford, siblings Ottis Crawford, Eddie "Bud" Crawford, Margie McMorris, Mary Crawford Merrell, Frank Crawford and Mitch Crawford; and daughter, Cynthia Crawford Robinson.
He is survived by his three daughters, Pam Crawford Cantrell (Bill) of Forks, WA, Cheryl Crawford Worley (Bo) of Malvern, PA, and Terri Crawford Porter (Gary) of Clinton; ten grandchildren, Lauren Montgomery of Raymond, MS, Sarah Baskins, Ben Cantrell and Leah Patry of Washington, Rachel Cantrell of Michigan, Marissa Bush, Cameron Worley and Breelyn Worley of Pennsylvania, Brock McKinney of Arkansas and Britney Davis of Alabama; brother Arthur Crawford of Clinton; sisters Christine Cook and Carolyn Rains of Brandon; sister-in-law Jean Crawford of New Hebron; brother-in-law Jimmy McMorris of New Hebron as well as his great grandchildren.
Mr. Crawford graduated from New Hebron High School and joined the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War. In 1952 he married Mary Kathryn Morris of Carson, MS. He graduated in 1961 with Bachelors in Engineering and a minor in Bible. In 1965, he formed Dixie Elevator Company of Jackson, MS where he spent over 40 years installing and servicing elevators in Mississippi. Clif was a member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton for over 30 years and served as Deacon for many years. The last few years he attended New Hebron Baptist Church of New Hebron. Clif was a loyal member of the Kiwanis Club and known for frying catfish for various fundraisers and political events throughout Mississippi.
Grateful appreciation is extended to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery Veteran's Hospital of Jackson, MS.
