Clara Kinard Holliday, 84, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 12-2 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.She was born on January 20, 1932 to the late, Robert A. Kinard and Laura Haimes Kinard in Louisville, MS. She was a member of Raymond Road Baptist Church and the Naomi Sunday School Class. She was an excellent seamstress, loved her family and to travel. She loved to hear the song, "Amazing Grace."She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Holliday; brother, Floyd Kinard. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Holliday Pickett (Gary); son, Billy Holliday; grandchildren, Robby Pickett (Brandi), Leslie Pickett, Tiffany Holliday Jones (Ben), Justin Holliday; great grandchild, Bailey Pickett.
