Carolyn M Husbands

On April 4, 2015, Carolyn Morgan Husbands left her home here on earth at the age of 88. She is now in her heavenly home with her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born in Beth Eden, MS.Mrs. Husbands retired after 43 years with the Bell System as an electronic technician. In her spare time, she traveled extensively in North and Central America as well as Europe. While at home she loved gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children: Mike (Jeannie), Brian, and Danny (Linda); two step-daughters: Barbara Husbands Fields and Imogene Husbands Grace; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister and best friend, Era Jean Morgan Crowson. Mrs. Husbands was preceded in death by her parents, James A. Morgan and Era Gay Ward Morgan, and brother, Jimmy Ward Morgan. She was a very generous lady and supported many charities. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the charity or organization of your choice. She will be dearly missed. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 12 noon Tuesday, April 7 at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.
