Billie was an avid gardener spending extra time in her flower beds, she enjoyed being with her family, being at church, and loved her cat Callie.
Billie is survived by her children; Anita Kennedy, Brenda Evans, Mary Ann Bowman, Scott Evans, Cherrie McFarland, Glenn White; sisters Juanita and Sue; 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband Robert Evans, her parents, and sibling Kate, Hazel, Louis, and Charles.
A visitation for Billie will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lakewood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM. Billie will be laid to rest next to her husband Robert in Shiloh Cemetery, Sallis, MS.
