Billie Carolyn Cochran passed away on November 16, 2023 in Jackson, MS.
Billie Carolyn Cochran was born in Lumberton, MS on October 14, 1933 and graduated from Lumberton High School. She was a gifted singer and sang soprano with the Sweet Adelines and with various church choirs. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Clinton, Ms. Much beloved by family and friends, Billie was a wonderful cook and baker. She worked for Hughes Tool Company for many years. She enjoyed crocheting and reading her bible.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) Cochran and her parents, William Alexander and Eva Shifalo Ladner. Mrs. Cochran is survived by her sister Ann Sanders and her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2:30 pm. Billie will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Park.
