Bessie Mae Price

Mrs. Bessie Mae Price, 91, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Brandon Nursing and Rehab Center. Visitation will be held at Lakewood South Funeral Home, 430 McCluer Rd, Jackson, MS on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM with funeral services to follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Lakewood South Memorial Park.

Mrs. Price was born on July 27, 1925 to the late George and Ollie Mae Wicker Warren. She was a faithful member of Griffith Memorial Baptist Church and read daily devotions in her bible. She enjoyed gardening, but above all she enjoyed caring for her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Price; son, Raymond Louis Price; and her parents.

Mrs. Price is survived by her daughter, Dianne Lawrence (Randy) of Brandon, MS; sisters, Nora C. Seales of Denver, CO, Bertie Weems of Flora, MS, and Nancy Hollingsworth of Lake, MS; grandchildren, Paul Price (Sandra) of Brandon, MS, Jon Price (Roxanna) of Providence Village, TX, Kristy Henley, Desiree’ and Clyde Lawrence.
