Of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the age of 75 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 53 years, Fran Stiles; their three children, April (Steve) Dancer, David Stiles and Jennifer (Paul) Webb; seven grandchildren, Dino (Cailla) Genix, Harley (Donavon) Day, Jayden (Alex) Stiles, Baylee (Aaron) Pearce, Vaughn Stiles, Sean Dancer and Landon Roberts; three great grandchildren, Zoe, Silas, Roland and a fourth on the way, Beau Thomas; two brothers, Bud (JoAnn) Bosarge and Tim Stiles; loving mother-in-law, Carrie Pojasek; sister and brother-in-law, Bron and Dave Stringham. As well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly “Sis” Stiles and father-in-law, Zygmunt Pojasek.
Tom was born to Wayne and Susie Stiles in Jacksonville, Florida on June 27, 1948. After graduating from Jackson High School in 1966 he was drafted by the United States Army and served in Vietnam. Upon his honorable discharge he returned to Jackson and married the love of his life, Fran Pojasek on January 29, 1971 and together they raised their family. Tom retired from Consumers Energy after 40 years as a Cabinet Maker. He was a talented athlete, coach and an avid sports fan. He undoubtedly loved his family and never missed a sporting event, recital or concert for any of them.
The family would like to thank the staff at Henry Ford Hospital for their wonderful care.
According to his wishes cremation has been chosen and the family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation at Burden and Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Followed by Military Honors.
