With unwavering faith and in God's eternal embrace, Marion journeyed to her heavenly home on June 13, 2024. She always understood that worldly and physical joy would diminish with age but that spiritual joy would be eternal, therefore she passed peacefully and with grace. She felt no fear, only anticipation of a reunion with those who've passed before her. She felt blessed and grateful for her 95 years of earthly life and will be eternally grateful for the care provided at Jackson County Medical Care Facility for many years.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband of 78 years Kermit Craft, her cherished mother Elizabeth Trueby Jackson, her father Graham Jackson, her older brother John Miller, her younger brother Henry Jackson, her younger sister Rosemary Brown, and her beloved brother-in-law Jerry Scott. Marion is survived by her youngest sister Elizabeth Scott; her eldest son, his wife, and her grandson Gary, Rita and James Lee Craft; her daughter and her husband Linda and Gordon Hisayau; her youngest son Jerry Craft, her daughter-in-law Mary Ashby; mother of Marion's 3 other grandchildren Jennifer Brooks, Tara Rousseau, and Benjamin Craft. She experienced the joy of many grand and great-grandchildren through her blended families. Marion's modest aspirations were realized through her love and devotion to her family and the kindness she displayed to all people. She worshipped and found fellowship at Gorham Baptist Church for nearly 30 years. She worked many jobs in food service and caregiving after her children set off on their own. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, travel, baseball, figure skating and music and dance. She donated too many causes but none more than the Salvation Army. As a depression era child, she saw their help as a Godsend. She requests that you honor this favorite charity in remembrance of her. Marion humbly, with God's help and great inner strength, felt great fulfillment throughout her life.
