Of Clarklake, Michigan passed away at the age of 85 on Saturday, September 3, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ron Andrus; son, Timothy (Millie) Ludy of Pottstown, PA; daughter, Debbie (Tim) Walker of Warrens, WI; step-children, Keith (Vera) Andrus, Jr., of Cowpens, SC., Marci Clark of Augusta, GA., Brian (Kathy) Andrus of Hogland, IN., and Robert Andrus of Haslett, MI; grandchildren, Robert Ludy, Maria (Don) Broussard, Stacy (Adams) Browers, Christopher Ludy, Shelli (Clay) Fox, Rachel Davidheiser, Rick Davidheiser; twenty-eight great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Henry Ludy Jr.; previous husbands, Henry Ludy Sr. and Paul Murphy; a grandson, Timmy Ludy and siblings. Joan was born in Birdsboro, PA on June 25, 1937 to Levi and Ethel (Magners) Bachanan. She spent her career working for the municipalities of Atlantic City and retired as the Secretary of the Chief of Police. She was a hardworking and loving family woman. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Joan loved football and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan!
According to her wishes, cremation has been chosen and there will be a service to honor her life at a later date.
