Gerald Wayne Herman

Of Jackson, passed away November 14, 2015 age 77. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Marjorie, 2 children, Kristine (Timothy) Flickinger and Kenneth (Sylvia) Herman, 5 grandchildren, Dr. Nicholas (Jessica) Flickinger, Holly Flickinger, Taylor Flickinger, Ashley Herman and McKayla Herman, 3 great grandchildren, Sadie, Lucy and Henry Flickinger, 1 sister, Janet (Bruce) Bertsch, 1 sister-in-law, Nancy Herman, 1 brother-in-law, Donald (Kimberly) Moore, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Carl Sr. and Gladys Herman and 1 brother, Dr. Perry Carl Herman Jr. Gerald was a member of Vandercook Lions Club and was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman and woodworker. He retired from Consumers Energy after 39 years of service. He was greatly loved and will truly be missed. A celebration of his life will be held at the Jackson Free Methodist Church, 2829 Park Dr. Jackson, Friday, November 20, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. Cremation will follow service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jackson Free Methodist Church in Gerald's name.
