Of Jackson, MI passed away on November 19, 2021, at the age of 81. David was born in Jackson, MI on July 11, 1940, to parents Herbert and Mildred Moulton. He married Joann VanWormer. They were married for 58 years. He retired from Melling Tool Company. David loved repairing small engines, especially lawn mowers, and doing yard work. He also loved walking and riding his bike for cardio exercise. He loved his country music, but most of all, he loved his wife. They especially loved going to the Smokies and Cades Cove, TN. A special thanks to HFA hospital trauma unit for their wonderful care. He is survived by his wife Joann; children Julie L. Lombardi and Daniel P Moulton (LaFadio Taylor); grandchildren Sam, Luke, and Shelby; brother Phillip Moulton; brother-in-law Jack Taylor, sister-in-law Ann Moulton; special friends Alyse and Kevin Farley and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers James Moulton and Robert Moulton; sisters-in-law Jeanette Taylor and Frances Moulton. Per his wishes cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home, he will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Cascades Humane Society or charity of choice.
