Passed away peacefully under the care of Great Lakes Hospice & Ridgecrest Nursing Home on Tuesday, March 1st, 2016. Dan was a veteran of community theatre in Jackson and was seen in numerous productions with The Clark Lake Players, Jackson Civic Theatre, and the Gilbert & Sullivan Society. Dan was also an avid Barbershopper and is a past president of the Pioneer District. Dan was the treasurer of the Lumen Christi Titan Club for 25 plus years, as well. He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Sue; his brother, Dave; and his parents, Dorothy and Sam. Dan is survived by his son, Chad (Shelby); and was Poppi to Ian, Carter, and Nolan; as well as many nieces and nephews. A service honoring his life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until the time of service for visitation. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Lumen Christi Titan Club.
