Betty L Heath

Betty Heath passed away surrounded by her loving family Friday, February 17, 2017, age 86 years. Surviving are five sons: Danny (Pansy), Greg (Kathy), Doug (Beth), Mark (Pat), and Kevin Heath; three daughters: Linda Rutan, Jackie (Pete) Faulds, and Janette (Scott) Gedman; daughter in-law, Cheri Heath; sister, Barbara Williams; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron (Ronnie) Heath; son, Myron (Myke) Heath Jr.; parents, Floyd and Mary Wymer; brothers, Dale and Hugh Wymer; grandchildren, Brock Heath and Tricia Gedman. Betty was a proud graduate of Napoleon High School class of 1948; the largest at the time, consisting of 18 students. She loved to play cards, especially Skipbo. Betty was Past President of the Michigan Gem and Mineral Club. Her proudest achievements were that of a mother to her nine children plus grandmother and care taker to all. The family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the staff of the Jackson County Medical Care Facility and Great Lakes Hospice Care. Your professionalism and caring are second to none. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Burial Clarklake Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 3-5 P.M. and Monday 10:00 A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Betty’s name.
