Jake Michael McCullough

Jake Michael McCullough was born the morning of November 3 at 8:45am, and passed away peacefully an hour later in the arms of his mommy and daddy, Amanda and Patrick McCullough, without any pain or suffering. He was a beautiful baby boy and the moments he spent with mom, dad, and big brother Zachary and big sister Sydney, were a gift from God and will forever be cherished. Jake is also survived by grandparents Joseph and Suzanne McKenzie, and Muriel and Gordon McCullough. Jake will always remain his parents’ precious baby, and Zachary’s and Sydney’s little brother, and they will hold him again in heaven one day. The family would like to thank Palmetto Richland Hospital and the entire team who supported Jake, and a very special thank you to the palliative care team whose support and kindness provided an immeasurable amount of comfort to the family. We would also like to thank the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep foundation who provided a photographer to help capture all of Jake's short life with us. Private graveside services will be held on November 7, 2015 in Woodridge Memorial Park. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo is assisting the family.
