Service for Evelyn Stevens Trevett, 98, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Trevett passed away Friday, June 8, 2018. Born in Ellisburg, NY, she was the daughter of the late Fritz and Georgina Kate South Stevens. She was the wife of the late Raymond H. Trevett. Mrs. Trevett was a member of Dutch Fork Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling with the senior group. She was retired from the VA Medical Center in Biloxi, MS, as a LPN and Respiratory Therapist. Mrs. Trevett enjoyed reading and walking throughout the Riverbanks Zoo.
Surviving are her sons, Douglas R. Trevett (Lynne), Wesley E. Trevett (Karen); grandchildren, April Lynne Cassidy, Beth Marie Salter, and Nathan R. Trevett. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, Luke, Brandon, Ty, Landon, Jack, Hailey, Reagan, Holly, and Connor. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Stevens.
