Edna Mae Hardie from Sligo, Pennsylvania, went home to be with Jesus on May 10, 2021 after a long illness at the age of 73. Edna was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, teacher, and friend and prayer warrior to many people. Her goal in life was to let people know her friend Jesus and so they could join her in heaven. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Charles (Henry) Mahle, and her older brother, Jim Krieble.
Those who are waiting to see her again in heaven are her loving husband, Thomas Hardie; sons, Thomas Hardie II, and Donald Hardie; daughter-in-law, Suzy Hardie; daughter, Gloria Hardie; granddaughter, Joy Hardie; sisters, Evelin Womeldorf (Wes Womeldorf), and Leota Hilliard along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
Edna Hardie would tell everyone to not grieve her leaving, but instead celebrate her life and God’s grace and mercy.
