Mrs. Ruby Nell Roach, 85, wife of the late Hershel Wayne Roach, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at United Regional Hospital.
She was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late John A. and Ruby Pressley Brooks. She met and married her husband Wayne and moved to Texas. She then became a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She worked for many years at Sprague Electric and Kens Pizza.
Surviving is her son Lee and wife Christy Roach of Iowa Park, and a granddaughter Addison Roach of Iowa Park. In addition to her husband and parents, Ruby was preceded by a son John Wayne Roach, and four sisters, Sylvia Lyle, Sadie Lyle, Jennie Dees, and Geraldine “Geri” Brooks Thrift.
She will be buried alongside her husband and son at Highland Park Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas.
