Edward Henson Jr.

A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Dutton Funeral Home Chapel in Iowa Park, TX. The service will be officiated by Brother Bob Haynes under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, TX.

Eddie was born on November 4, 1959 to parents, Edward Eugene and Maxine Henson in Wichita Falls, TX. He graduated from Iowa Park High School and went on to be a lifelong member of the community. He was an active member of Faith Baptist Church his entire life. He also has attended Grace Baptist Church for the past three years. Eddie loved to make people happy, It was one of his biggest enjoyments in life, aside from the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers, and partaking in outside yard work.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Eugene Henson, brother in law Gayle Houston, and several nieces and nephews.

Edward is survived by his mother Maxine Henson of Iowa Park; sister Donna Myers and husband Terry of Ft. Illinois; sister Elaine Rich of Iowa Park; sister Nadine Houston of Iowa Park; brother Bo Henson of Iowa Park; sister Carol King and husband Larry of Oklahoma; sister Jaine Ellis of Iowa Park; brother Jimmy Henson and wife Arleene of Ft. Illinois; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. He is also survived by his lifelong friend Jimmy Cash of Iowa Park.
