Joan,  we are so sad to hear of Ronnie’s passing. He was a wonderful neighbour to us at our Inverness residence and always had a smile and time to chat while he enjoyed his many cups of tea.  For the last 13 years he would mow our lawn and keep it in tip top shape, saying it was no big deal as he was doing his anyway. His was the first face we would see when we arrived. We certainly will miss his presence.  Sincere condolences to you and the girls as well as the beautiful grandchildren that he obviously enjoyed (patiently) spending time with teaching them things, fishing in the yard, riding their bikes etc! So sad to hear of Ronnie's passing. He was a wonderful childhood friend of mine, growing up on Forest Street together. Ronnie had a great laugh and beaming smile. He was very generous and quick to share treats from John Neilie's store and his mother's homemade bread.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
