Blair and Raylene were high school sweethearts. They were soulmates and treasured the beautiful life they created with their children. Their love story is truly inspiring, filled with so many adventures, laughter, happiness and memories that will be treasured forever. Raylene was an amazing and dedicated mother. She cherished her Angel Girls and embraced every moment with them with unconditional love. Raylene’s kindness, wisdom and feistiness will live on through Ella Rae, Kate and Emmie.
Raylene had a wonderful connection with her “Ma”, Willena and she shared a special bond with her that many envied. She was very close to her siblings Lionel and Faith and was blessed with the loving relationship they shared. Conrad and Ellen were bonus siblings for her, and she won the mother-in-law lottery with Bonnie. Raylene was fortunate to have two fathers, Ray and Trapper, who adored her.
Raylene was a childcare provider throughout her life. She offered a loving home away from home for many children in our community. Children adored her. She was a nurturer, a teacher and a baby whisperer. She had patience and grace. Parents often turned to her for advice and had immense trust in her. In addition to her commitment to children, she was an avid volunteer on several committees. Raylene took pride in her community with a heart to serve and help others.
She maintained amazing lifelong friendships, some spanning 40+ years. Raylene and her friends shared numerous fun-filled adventures together. Many good times were had, and these precious memories will be held close to the heart. She was the protector, the fashionista, the entertainer, and was truly extraordinary.
Raylene’s laughter, beautiful spirit, infectious smile, unique style and her delicious spinach dip will be greatly missed. She will be loved and honored forever. For someone who was always late, she sure left this world too early.
