It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear wife Cathy on Friday, February 8th, 2019 in the Halifax Infirmary, QE11.
Cathy was born in Inverness on Tuesday, August 15th, 1961 and she was the daughter of the late Simon Patrick and Pauline (MacPherson) MacLellan.
She was a member of Stella Maris Parish, Inverness and worked most of her life in Inverness, her last posting being at the Inverness Filene Credit Union before moving to Westville.
Cathy was known to be a very quiet person and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Cathy will be missed by all the people who came to know her.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 34 years, Angus MacIsaac. She is also survived by her brothers; Patrick, Bobby and Michael MacLellan; mother-in-law, Kay MacIsaac; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law and special nieces.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23rd in Stella Maris Church, Inverness from 10-10:45 a.m. with Funeral Mass to follow at 11a.m., Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
