Barry had a zest for life. He was an ironworker at Stora for many years, and had a side-passion
for crane operating. He was quick-witted and proud, loved his family, and always made sure to
share news of their accomplishments. Port Hood where he spent his formative years, was
always near and dear to his heart. His passions included vehicle restoration, stock car racing,
sailing, fiddle music, sitting on his deck soaking up the sun, and sipping a good cup of tea. Barry
had many the adventures on the waters in Canada and the U.S. and enjoyed sharing those
stories with all of us.
We would like to take this time to thank the staff at the Inverary Manor for their care. They went
above and beyond to make sure Barry was as comfortable as could be.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 6th, from 10 to 10:45 am in St Peter’s Church, Port Hood, with
