He is survived by his brothers, Danny (Kay), Raymond Jr. (Leah), and Walker, all of Inverness; nieces and nephews, Tyron (Janice), Frankie (Charlene), Danny (Bhreagh), Ricky (Christine), Rebecca, Travis and Emily Rose; grandnephews and nieces, Kiersten, Alyssa, Brady, Tessa, Rossi, Lila Rae, Calli, Owen, Ethan, Elsie, and Everly; uncles and aunts, Mickey (Betty), Lorraine and Sandra.
Jackson graduated from Inverness Jr. Sr. High in 1993. Over the years Jackson worked at various jobs. He was a member of the Laborer’s Union Sydney, Local 1115 and later, Local 92 in Alberta. He worked for various companies in Alberta and as a pipeliner for Waschuk Pipeline Construction in Northern Alberta. In recent years, Jackson returned to fishing and was the most dependable helper where he loved being on the ocean working alongside his brothers Junior and Walker.
Jackson spent endless hours in nature where he hunted, fished and enjoyed exploring the beauty of Inverness County on his 4-wheeler. He was a gardener, good cook, and loved sharing in a good meal. He loved his home and the sunsets from his deck. Owen, Jackson’s grandnephew held a special place in his heart and Jackson shared many of these experiences with him.
The past few years, living with Wegener's was tough, but Jackson seldom complained and continued to work hard. He was patient, kind and a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. It's hard to see you go, but we find comfort in knowing you are at peace.
