Yvonne Mary Santoro, 94, of Indianapolis IN. died September 4th 2022. Yvonne passed away at home of natural causes.
Yvonne, born in New York City, was the daughter of Joseph and Nadema Beilouny, sister to Louis Beilouny, Edward Beilouny and loving wife of Victor A. Santoro (all now deceased).
She is survived by her brother, Raymond Beilouny of Fl, daughter Nadeen Compton, and sons Richard (Deborah) and Victor Santoro (Roxanna) all of Indianapolis. She is also survived by six grandchildren and many great grandchildren, living in Indiana, Arizona, Colorado and Oregon.
Yvonne worked as a Licenced Practical Nurse at Methodist Hospital, St. Augustine Home for the Aged and as a private duty nurse. She also volunteered her professional services to the Red Cross at the Indiana State Fair and Starlite Musicals. She was a Lay Minister at Christ the King Church and also a member of the Christ the King Choir and the Resurrection Choir. Other volunteer work included: helping at St. Vincent DePaul charities, assisting at the Catholic Center and the Catholic Widow/Widower's Organization and helping at the Christ the King Festival. She enjoyed all aspects of her Syrian heritage, the food, music, culture and the Arabic language.
A visitation for Yvonne will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E 71st St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Friday, September 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery, 435 W Troy Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
